What other people think of me or WOW I GOT REVIEWED!
Well like every writer I adore getting reviews. Be they good or bad they tell me what people think of my work. And so far I have a nice handful of reviews. I will organize them and put them up here as I can. Now since i write in series why not have the reviews that way right?
OMG I just got the best review of my poetry a scared poet could ask for! Love, Loss and loneliness was very scary for me to put out but look what a wonderful reader put up!
5.0 out of 5 stars Palpable poetry and photography convey love, loss, loneliness March 20, 2013 By James Blakley Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase Author Lisa Williamson (better-known for short stories like "Red Ghost Rides", "The Knight Protector", and the series "The Echoes of Older Times"), loses herself in introspection and the serenity of nature in an attempt to unmask the emotional complexities of "Love, Loss, and Loneliness."
Conceived during an extended period of personal hardship, Williamson's most striking poems tend to be of the shorter variety. "Another Day"; "The Cage"; "Clouds and Sun"; "Cloaked Soul"; and "Beginnings" are compact, but very visually-written. The longer poems, such as "Changes", aren't as effective. They read like disjointed observations or sometimes emotional streams of consciousness, lacking the short poems' simple, coehesive rythm; the quick, compact gut jab; or the ability to elevate the reader's consciousness to an abreviated plane of surreral adventure or discovery. Of course, this could arguably be an attempt to authentically portray the imperfect healing process that Williamson may have experienced. Or, it may also serve to show that not all poetry is meant to be a mellifluous, feel-good festival.
What also makes this book captivating is its accompanying set of stunning photography. Though most of it is floral or pastoral, all the photos transfer perfectly to Kindle. And most of them enhance the emotional exploration or revelation of the poetry. Although with the poems that communicate "loss" or "loneliness", it might have helped to have more scenes of nature's harshness and cruelty--a barren field or a dead animal. Granted, Williamson does provide a few wintry scenes. Though they can't compare with the robust hues that denote the loveliness of spring and summer.
All in all, Lisa Williamson succeeds in conveying a palpable sense of "Love, Loss, and Loneliness." This collection of cathartic poetry showcases her wide range as a writer. It also reveals her skill as a nature photographer--a talent that many of her readers probably didn't realize existed

Newest review for me came for Fall Into Nightmares. This is the first book in the Chaos Wars series. This review is from the big time review site Paranormal Romance Guild
Recieving reviews from outside groups can be both scary and interesting. I submitted my novel, Fall Into Nightmares to the Paranormal Romance Guild for review. I was told they would review anything, be it romance or not. I think the reviewer I got was not into none romance intensive books but as you can see she did read it.
Book: Fall Into Nightmares
Series: Chaos Wars - Book 1
Author: Lisa Williamson
Publisher: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.
Genre: Fantasy, Urban/ Post Apocalyptic
Rating: V some violence, Slight Mature content
Story Synopsis provided by the author:
The world as you know it has ended. Not in fire, not in flood but with a scream. Creatures from the darkest nightmares now run the streets and one woman controls them all.
There are three who stand between mankind and utter defeat. The Warrior, The Protector and The Healer. Only if they survive the fall of the modern world and come together will they be able to defeat the Mistress of Nightmares.
“Fall Into Nightmares” is a novella-length story. It follows the three protagonists who are connected by a prophesy and destined to save the world. Their nemesis is a witch from another dimension who desires The Warrior as her lover and power source as she tries to take over the Earth.
The story jumps right into action with martial arts scenes and an immediate kidnapping. The three main characters Jessica (the Healer), Gregory (the Protector), and Jeffrey (the Warrior) live in a love triangle of sorts. I found this refreshing; it wasn’t your typical love triangle. While the immediate action is great, I needed more background on the characters to be deeply interested in them. Some background is finally meted out about half-way through the book.
The book uses stock monsters and vague ideas of evil; it left me wanting something new and fresh. With the introduction of Michael, a Wiccan priest, I began to gain more interest. As the story progressed, the minor characters really took on more life and were unique and interesting. The story finally picked up speed with non-stop action scenes filling the last third of the book.
There were grammatical errors throughout which could be easily corrected with a good proof reading, but nothing that was bad enough to make the book unintelligible.
I think this book would appeal to those who like lots of swordplay and a simple, straightforward adventure story.

The Knight Protector. This is a stand alone novella I wrote years ago and a wonderful person over on Linkedin read and reviewed my story and did a character interview!
“Act One Review” Knight Protector Posted on January 3, 2013 A fun moving creative and exciting adventure fantasy novel. It begins with a drama filled relationship two individuals. Quickly it transforms into a race to save! “Knight Protector” written and published by Lisa Williamson. This story is magical! It begins with drama associated with a relationship between two; a man and a woman; a knight and a bard. They long for each other, but this is interrupted by a dark wizard’s desire to destroy the knight. The premise gives a solid foundation providing a good picture of the story. Informative enough to increase the interest without selling the kitchen sink. I am comfortable giving it a 3.5 out of 5.
Being a fan of fantasy, this is filled with the major elements that make the story very enjoyable and fun to read. I love the balance of magic and power intermingled throughout the first several chapters. For me it’s very important to have this in the beginning. It tells you that the rest of the book can only be similar. I am definitely looking forward to reading more. It is a MF(Must Finish)
I like the lack of distractions grammatically. The story moves along smoothly with curves, hills and valleys without hiccups. The view during the grammatical drive is scenic. The characters are wonderfully created. They drama described in the relationship between the Bard and the Knight is beautifully crafted and developed. You become engorged. The disruption of the drama with the onset of a different set of circumstances intensifies the experience. One MUST pick this up. A GREAT start!
Guardians of the Gate City is a series of stories from the viewpoint of Harry, a guardian who does his best to keep the normal world and the world of the Others running smoothly.

Not enough of anything, or I would have given it a 5. I hope the author has the sense to write a full length story filling in the background, and the present history and the ongoing story, of Harry and the other guardians. It was a nice light snack of a read leaving you with a longing for a full meal if you know what I mean.

Couple of grammatical errors along the way although they didn't spol the story for me. Even so, I think they need attention in these really short pieces, just to make them gleam like gold.

An Imaginative Journey, August 19, 2012 By James A. Anderson "Author" Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Hope Everlasting (Guardians of the Gate City 2) (Kindle Edition) Beautifully written by a highy imaginative writer. This 53-page novella is part of Lisa Williamson's Guardians of the Gate series of stories and a worthy addition. It is cleanly written and edited which is a big bonus.
When a child is kidnapped, Harry and his friends, the Shape shifter Joe and the Psychic cop Jackson, need to find her before a dark and evil magic is unleashed.
Williamson has crafted an interesting world full of trolls, shape shifters, demons and assorted creatures one would hope never to meet.
The story is captivating and entertaining and although this is not my usual genre of reading, I enjoyed it. It ended too soon. This author needs to put her vivid imagination to work on a full length novel. Her readers will thank her.
If you enjoy something different and highly unusual, give this one a try. Well worth 5-stars!
A Watery Grave, the third tale of the series where Harry has to investigate what on the surface seems like a tragic accident. So far it has not been reviewed
Halloween Pranks and Mischief is the Fourth story. It is Halloween again and Harry is called in to deal with some spooky goings on at one of the local hotels. Again not yet reviewed.
Christmas Snow is number five. This time Harry has to find the key to breaking a dark fae curse on a little girl. Still not reviewed but it has only been up for a short time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read August 24, 2012 By Roy E Stolworthy Format:Kindle Edition When I first started to read this it reminded me to never go out and buy a newspaper. Chilly But Entertaining October 17, 2012 By James A. Anderson Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase A quick and entertaining read.

Cold, October 17, 2012 By Cphe (australia) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Ice (Echoes of Elder Times 1) (Kindle Edition) A very, very short story about Sharalyn who is grand daughter to Odin. She has been "dormant" and has no recollection of her history until one day she goes to the corner shop for staples and realises that the earth has frozen over.
Whilst I enjoyed the concept of the story, there were editing and formatting issues which I was surprised to find, being such a short story. There were also some poor choices in wording. But overall the idea behind the story was different, which is why it got the four stars.
I found this book on the “Linell Jeppsen Science Fiction Thread” on Amazon’s MoA forum and…I LOVED THIS STORY!!!!!!
Ahem, it was, um, very short and interesting. It began in a creepy-sort of way and, um, it was…it made me feel like I was really alone in a world full of ice. As the story progressed it became more and more interesting. There isn’t much I can say without giving away the plot. However, there was a downside. It felt a little rushed, but I guess that’s because it’s an opener to a larger series. I really liked the two main characters. The girl, Sharalyn, and her cat, JimJy, felt like friends to me. I also liked….wait, I don’t want to give away too much!
I recommend this story, it is very interesting and makes you want to know more. I will be watching Lisa Williamson. She is definitely a short story author to watch.

He makes it possible for Daphne to have the interesting life that she craves - as a cat. I am not animal lover, but the ending was sweet and very satisfying.
4.0 out of 5 stars A quick, enchanting tale September 8, 2012 By John Patin Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase I picked this short story up because it promised to be a quick read, it was free, and I wanted to check out the writer's style. It was, indeed, a quick and charming read. Not normally my kettle of fish (where DOES that expression come from?), it was a cute little time out from my normal diet of ray-guns and exploding starships. I think it could have benefited from one more editing pass and I found the closing conversation a bit superfluous unless it is meant as a link to other stories. Otherwise, a nice little read that if I were a little more inclined toward fantasy, would have me checking out the author's other efforts.

This review is from: Partings (Death Walks Through 1) (Kindle Edition) Partings by Lisa Williamson
Anyone who has ever been deeply in love knows words are not required to communicate. Yet oddly these lovers are out of that range of simple telepathy that all lovers enjoy. I felt something more sinister going on when the black shadow brought the horse to a stop before the aching lover who sensed the return of the only man who mattered. He mattered enough for her to forgo touch with anyone until he returned. And he didn't use words to embrace her heart as they reunited after the long separation. He felt her questions, and she touched his answers, and knew that his horse did as well.
Lisa Williamson's Partings charmed me with her metaphors immediately when she likened the color of the main speaker's hair to the autumn leaves, "Bright with golden reds" I enjoyed the short story but felt like someone took the plate away after I ate only a couple of potato chips... Now I want to read more about that character she named, Death.
2.0 out of 5 stars Strong concept, needs editor, August 12, 2012 By Zoe - See all my reviews This review is from: Partings (Death Walks Through 1) (Kindle Edition) This is an extremely short story. The product page lists it at 4 pages; that is actually correct. The concept is good, but the execution could have be a lot stronger. This short story needs an editor. For example, "it's" was used several times instead of "its." There were far too many sentence fragments in the story. A few sentence fragments can have dramatic effect. Too many, and the effect is lost. Instead, the sentence fragments broke up the otherwise lyrical flow of the story. The imagery conjured was excellent, but frequently limited by stilted sentences missing required punctuation in several places. I would read this author again if I can be assured of stronger editing in future works. Imaginative story-telling is her forte.

The idea of a series of stories linked by a character who fascinates us all (Death) is a great one and has a lot of potential. This story, short as it was, had a few punctuation errors and changed tense in one sentence. It could have done with a little more work before release. I would be interested in seeing how the series evolves and would like to see it as a single book rather than very short titles of just a few pages.

4.0 out of 5 stars A stronger effort September 14, 2012 By Zoe Format:Kindle Edition I had previously read another one of Ms. Williamson's short stories. I found it imaginative, but lacking an editor. She could still use an editor in this one, but there were fewer, less jarring mistakes, and the fragmented sentences that threw me off in her previous story was replaced by a more fluid, almost lyrical style. Zeke and Ashram are twin brothers, as different as night and day. They are reliant upon each other in dealing with humans who are their adversaries. Well written and an enjoyable 15-minute read.

Passing the Torch is the second story
4.0 out of 5 stars A Most Unusual Short Story June 17, 2012 By theresa dawn sinclair Format:Kindle Edition Passing the Torch is an endearing story, yet with a disturbing background of a restless spirit who walks in the realm of the undead saving lost souls from all the rotten demons who live there. She does so quietly, using powers that cower the demons whilst calming the innocent and she is obviously carrying some unknown guilt in her heavy conscience.
There are no spare words, no padding. It is all story and told in a style that allows the truth to come out gradually for the reader. Quite a powerful little piece, Passing the Torch is.
If I have any problem with it, it is with the way it is punctuated which, at times, make it flow less smooth than it might. A few less commas. A few more full-stops and cap starts. I believe a 5 page story ought to be pristine in the editing dept.
4.0 out of 5 stars Darkly Disturbing August 22, 2012 By Linell Jeppsen Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase This is a very pretty , but very short piece about a spirit who passes the torch of "Spirit Guide" on to deserving souls. It is scary, because she sees demons and evil imps everywhere she looks, while the new and hapless souls are blind, and vulnerable to attack from either side. If I had a complaint, it's that Ms. Williamson could have spent, at least, four or five more pages describing the realm , the spirits, the demons, and the lost souls while keeping the story well within the "Short Story" genre.
That aside, this author has a moody, and melodic voice. Given time, she will be a force to be reckoned with in the fantasy genre. Congrats, Ms. Williamson!
brandon reviewed Passing the Torch (Beyond Realities 2) passing the torch December 28, 2012 The Girl with the Strawberry Birthmark This short story was a little troubling to me because it was pretty far out and not something i usually read. I like fantasy with characters I am able to attach a sense of reality to. However for the authors unusual imagination i have to award her five stars. If there is any advice to give it would be to rotate the genre of short fiction she writes. She needs a break from this style or she is liable to go over the edge. Speaking of far out, scientists tell us that space time and light bend. Which means there could be another earth with inhabitants just like us. Scary isn't it. Now there is a piece of fiction for this authors fertile imagination. Marshall Dell

An intimate, passionate, short story! October 8, 2012 By Jason Patrick Perry Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase I'm not much of a fan of erotica-type stories, but I decided to give this one a try. After reading it, I've found it quite exquisite. It was very passionate and very sensual. If you're into these types of books/stories, then this is a good book to read, with the exception of the length of it. I do, however, feel like there should have been more passionate scenes to it, to make it have more of an erotic feeling to it, to give it the kick it needed to stand out, more.
Other than than, it was an enjoyable read for me and I was pretty impressed with it.
Encounter October 17, 2012 By Cphe Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase I could only describe this very short story as an erotic encounter. Trust as a couple is the basis for this story. There was only one editing error, but still I'm surprised to find any in such a short story.
However it is as well written as others in the genre. I would have liked some back ground on the couple i.e how long they had been together.
My other series Pleasant Moments, and Naughty Interludes don't yet have reviews. I will put them up as I get them.
And Lastly I have two collections. Distance Means Little to Love. I have just received a review of my erotic collection Distance
Distance Means Little to Love - very fine erotic romance October 11, 2012 By Lalo Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase This is a collection of short stories. I really enjoy short stories. These stories focus on a couple who have to be apart for long periods of time. They make their time together very special.
The stories are romantic and sweet and... well... erotic. They've been apart for a long time, so, it is just great that they are so sweet to each other and want to do special things to make their brief time together memorable for them both.
And the stories, are memorable, romantic and erotic.
Great book to put you in a romantic mood. I recommend it. Enjoy!
I will have another collection coming out soon of erotic works but it is in the works with a publisher. So nothing yet.
And lastly but not least my first collection Gates: From One Reality to the next just got a very nicely detailed review. Not the best but hey this guy knows his stuff and I am proud I got it!
3.0 out of 5 stars Good stories, but needing an update., November 29, 2012 By J Bryden Lloyd "J Bryden Lloyd" (Author - UK) - See all my reviews This review is from: Gates (Kindle Edition) Book Review: Gates by Lisa Williamson

Writing Style - 3.0/5.0 (Okay)
This work flows, but it seems to run in short bursts rather than a single movement. The dialogue is generally very good, though there are a few weak sections which made some of the characters sound awkward. In fairness, I am aware this is a debut work, released through a third party who - I have to say - has done this author no favours on the editing front, but at least they haven't messed with the content.
Character Development - 3.5/5.0 (Good)
The cast of characters throughout these stories are very cleverly drawn. We are initially introduced to an artist, who perhaps doesn't make the great strides you would expect with regards to development, but nevertheless, she is beautifully portrayed and a very vivid individual. The following stories introduce us to a wider variety of characters, however in one story in particular, I felt no belief in the characters offered. In spite of an excellent mini-plot and a clever story structure, these characters in particular just didn't resonate with me. I will cover this again later in the review.
Descriptive - 4.0/5.0 (Very Good)
There's some good, solid descriptive in here. The world-building and atmosphere work is very good, and the details surrounding the characters and their immediate environs, is cleverly done.
If I were to be picky, sometimes the descriptive is an interference to the events in the plot, and although I could understand if this was by design, there are occasions it is not necessary.
Even so, the author has excellent ability in the descriptive she offers.
Language & Grammar - 2.5/5.0 (Average)
Although the use of language is reasonably good, the execution is equally flawed; partly due to an editor who has let this author down badly. Missing commas, spelling errors, incorrect and repetitive words... all are common and far too frequent for me personally. A long, critical read-through and a careful edit would make this into something far more special.
Plot - 3.5/5.0 (Good) - MINOR SPOILERS
This is a group of stories, and as such there are several plots in play.
I have to say the opening story is by far my favourite, and also - in my opinion - considerably more confidently written than those following it.
Going back to the weaker tale I mentioned earlier, although the story, which revolves around an alien invasion and the rescue of the groups of survivors from a now dying world, is very good and very well conceived, I found the characters too flat. Where I am sure others would see the endearing side to the siblings and the adults in the tale, I couldn't get past the sudden `re-designation' of them by the druid-like character, and the fact that they were there to potentially die in defence of those people escaping.
Taking nothing away from the idea and the writing, this just suppressed the characters too much for me to then want to relate to them.
For the remaining stories, the plots remained consistently good and nicely presented.
General - 3.5/5.0 (Good)
I have struggled to build this review, primarily because I am fully aware how other readers will be far more picky and critical regarding the grammar issues and the editing.
Even so, and however I dress it up, I found this a good, compelling read. Yes, in need of some TLC; Yes, in need of a possible revamp and a decent editor... but in the nature of honesty and fairness, these are very likeable stories and a pretty good character set, created and written in a good style, by a debut author who deserved better service than she was given.
I liked far too many elements of this work to condemn it, and although I would recommend this, I would also recommend you go into this work with open eyes, not expecting to find a finished product, coz it ain't quite there.

Here, I enjoyed the stories very much, particularly the first couple. However, my final rating fell due to the editing issues. This book would be greatly improved by a thorough proof-read and revision. I'll give just one example: its and it's being used incorrectly - one of my pet hates. I understand from a previous review that this book has gone through an editing process. Any editor worth his/her salt should have picked up on these errors.
Lisa Williamson has an easy writing style and a fluid imagination. With better editing, her work will become the showcase that her talents deserve.

4.0 out of 5 stars Elves, Orks and Halflings February 2, 2013 By Linell Jeppsen Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase Ms. Williamson has written a traditional fantasy with some very dark aspects in this first of a series.
Loralil is an elf girl who watches as her parents and everyone else in her village are put to death by the evil Samuel Elvenbane, a half-Orc. Then she is brutally raped and kidnapped into a life of sexual slavery.
For many years her uncle, Mica Silvershaft, and his friends try to find her, but are met with sorrow, death and frustration.
To say too much more would put a spoiler in the review~ so I will say this...
Positives- this is a good match for lovers of traditional fantasy who love sword-craft, wizardry, and spells.
-- Its a quick read, if you don't feel like plowing through pages and pages of long dialogue or description.
Negatives- This really needs an editorial pass through.
-- There is a lot of death in this short novel... which considering the content of the story is no surprise. However, I found it disconcerting to introduce characters and build them up, only to kill them off in fairly short order. I think the story might have been better served if the hero only had a couple of friends helping him in his quest, rather than a host of them who get knocked down one after the other. It was a bit depressing.
It is kind of hard to truly judge a segment of a novel... at this point it feels unfinished- which, of course, it is since its only the first part of a series.
I have been a part of three collections or anthologies that feature lots of other writers. I have not put up the reviews for these as they are for the complete collection and not just my part of them.

I loved Loralil and her ability to rise above the constant hardships and trauma to become a strong and powerful woman. I also very much liked that her uncle and his friends searched tirelessly for her no matter how long it took or losing some of their friends along the way.
I am looking forward to reading the next part of Loralils adventures.

However, a very descriptive piece of writing by a very talented author. I would like to see the result of a full length novel by Lisa, but that isn't my decision to make. Well done, a great read.

(REAL NAME) Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Partings (Death Walks Through 1) (Kindle Edition) This was a really great little short. I think the author calls it a 'shorty short', but it is certainly worth the time to read it! It's the story of two lover's reunited after so many years of separation, sadness and waiting! Sure to give you a contented smile at the end.

This review is from: Partings (Death Walks Through 1) (Kindle Edition) This type of story is out of my comfort or regular reading range, but I wanted to give it a try. The story made me think of the love I have with my husband. An unbreakable love. I highly recommend this short story. Read it with someone you love, and then hold them close.
The second Tale is The Words That Bring Peace this tale is a bit more modern in setting
All in all, a lovely short story to pass the time.
The third in this series is Death Was the Bargain again a modern setting
5.0 out of 5 stars Death Was the Bargain (Death Walks Through) kindle version September 10, 2012 By Lalo Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase This is an excellent read. I love short stories anyway, but this one has haunted me since I finished it. It is a romance, although bittersweet. It delves into the depth of love between two people and just what that love can accomplish.
It is a fantasy, but one that leaves you thinking. Like I said, it is a beautiful and haunting story.
4.0 out of 5 stars A pretty story September 21, 2012 By Dawn Format:Kindle Edition A charming but short love story wherein Death is a character in the story. Well-written and enjoyable with an ending that makes you grin in satisfaction.
The Red Ghost Rides Is the fourth book in this series of short stories and I received two reviews within a day of posting it!
5.0 out of 5 stars A New Take On An Old Tale March 5, 2013 By P.L. Blair Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase As a lover of ghost stories, I've been familiar with the tales of the Red Ghost for a lot of years.
But Lisa Williamson gives a new spin to an old legend, and the result is a mighty fine yarn.
I can't say a lot about the plot without bringing in spoilers. Suffice it to say that it satisfies - and it will have you thinking differently about life, unlife and ... death.
This little tale is well worth the 99 cents you'll pay for it. It's one of those stories that I know already I won't grow tired of. Yep, I'll read it again ... and again ... and ...
I highly recommend that you add it to your library.
5.0 out of 5 stars This tale took me by surprise March 5, 2013 By L. M. Boelz Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase I know and love the writing style of this author but she out did herself on this one. I will not look at life, or death the same after this tale. I found myself not able to put it down until I reached the end. I have added this to my to be read again pile of books that delivered what I look for in a story.
My forth series (yeah I do a lot of them) is Beyond Realities. These stories are ones that don't quite fit in my other tales.
The first is Night and Day a tale of two brothers
5.0 out of 5 stars A Shorty with Legs! June 17, 2012 By theresa dawn sinclair Format:Kindle Edition Night and Day is quite extraordinary and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Zeke and Ashram in a world they abhor, misunderstood by the humans but stuck here as some kind of punishment for aeons. And, because their adversaries here are humans who have their own set of prejudices and misunderstandings, they are reliant on one another when, in a different realm they'd be more likely to stay as far apart as possible.
5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Shorty November 24, 2012 By James A. Anderson Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase Night and Day is an interesting shorty.
Zeke and Ashram are twin brothers, as different as night and day. They are reliant upon each other in dealing with humans who are their adversaries. Well written and an enjoyable 15-minute read.
What I like about Lisa's stories is they are short, insightful looks at the human condition and the supernatural. These brief stories are perfect for cleansing the palate between reading full length novels.

Which is the Sacrifice is the first tale
5.0 out of 5 stars Which is the Sacrifice - Great read August 22, 2012 By Lalo Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase I enjoyed this short story. I found it bittersweet. This story touched me. It is well written and well edited. And it left me wondering, which one would they say was the sacrifice. So many sacrifices are made from day to day. It is nice to think that someone would notice this sacrifice of love. I think there is no need to choose. They both sacrificed. The story is sad and hopeful too. I recommend this book.
The second story All That There Was has yet to be reviewed

3 stars, and I look forward to being able to edit this review and increase the rating once a revision is out there.
Sam Kates reviewed Gates Gates by Lisa Williamson December 23, 2012 When I rate books, I have a starting point of 3 stars. That will rise or fall as I read. The final rating will depend on things like writing style, enjoyment of the story, standard of editing, etc.

Saga of Loralil Greyfox ! 5 stars!
Dec 22, 2012 Chris Lane rated it Shelves: chris-sci-fi, sci-fi Brill now this was a good read. Will be looking out for more like this like · see review
New! Ch'kara SilverWolf "Ch'kara" reviewed Endings (Saga of Loralil Greyfox 1) Dark Fantasy February 2, 2013 I enjoyed this story even though I normally do not like so much brutality.

I'm not someone who normally reads fantasy but I found that Williamson's Endings pulled at the heart strings. In a world full of elves I discovered a fight against tyranny and the right of justice.
